We are currently enrolling for our next series of workshops, "The Acting for camera Boot Camp." These are running throught the summer 2023

 

This is an intensive weekend course that covers all the major aspects of acting for film. Its a 'hands on' practical course and you get a completed filmed scene at the end of it! Great to use for showreel purposes. During the course you will learn the techniques for working with the camera, how to build a role, creating your character, working with a team, overcoming nervous energy, using your voice and body (your natural actors tools) for maximum effect. You will also learn audition techniques and get an insight into finding work, getting an agent or even learning how to manage your own career.

 

During the course the students and the director will device some original scenes which will then be rehearsed and filmed. Each student will have 1 monologue and 1 duologue . As we work on the scenes, you will be getting invaluable training and feedback from the director. You will also have your own show reel and will be able to go looking for work right away!

 

The course is held in a film studio environment with up to the minute HD digital equipment and is perfect for actors looking for experience in film, new skills and a show reel.

 

We also cast for feature films and often call actors who impressed us in the courses we run.
